zzTakeoff has been a great tool for Kellenberger Inc., an excavation and site utilities company based in Northern Illinois. We use zzTakeoff on a daily basis to perform pre-construction takeoffs and assist with accurate cost proposals. We appreciate the ability to perform simple quantity takeoff reports but also build complex formulas to calculate material, removal of dirt spoils, stone import, and include labor production.

Assembly building is a cake walk
The ZZ UI and takeoff screen is smooth, simple, intuitive, and polished. Assembly building is a cake walk. Your overlay feature is hands down better than any we have used and with the amount of revisions we do, it's critical. Keep pushing to build that Android, "I can do anything with this" backend while having that Apple look and feel front end, and price it like you guys do and any estimator not using it will be making a big mistake. Thanks for your hard work and passion!
User-Friendly for Heavy Commercial
As a former PlanSwift user this is completely user-friendly. You can create and force things the way you want them to go without any coding knowledge. As a heavy commercial contractor, this helps get any demo, grading and paving, site, and structural concrete work estimated with confidence and ease. I look forward to seeing this software grow and adapt to their clients' needs.
The Interface Is Intuitive and Easy to Use
We are a landscape development company and were long time users of Planswift. We made the switch to zzTakeoff just a couple months ago and have already seen the positive effects. The interface is intuitive and easy to use. With a little bit of instruction we were able to use it right away. One of our favorite features is the ability to collaborate in real time with teams in different locations. We can review each other's notes and call outs enhancing our communication and execution. We love the layer feature. Our team leaders are able to modify sheets to communicate with specific teams giving clear instructions. Being a cloud based program it has helped with drawing version control ensuring we are all working on the most recent set of plans. Overall zzTakeoff has enhanced our workflow, communication and execution in the field.

Streamlined My Estimating Workflow
Experience has been great so far, has really streamlined my estimating workflow and I have only scratched the surface of the software. The ease of uploading drawings, naming them, and getting started immediately on a takeoff has been a serious time saver at my company, where the standard is printing out paper and using a hilighter/pencil.
Perfect for Framing Industry
It has greatly sped up my time on doing a take off for materials giving me a more accurate count so we don't have too much for returns. The extreme accuracy of the dimensions tool within a 1/8 of an inch - it's perfect for the framing industry.
Fantastic Customer Service & User-Friendly Platform
I am so glad I found zzTakeoff! It is a young software and lacking a few customizable options but it is very user friendly and easy to use. The pricing is very reasonable and the customer service is absolutely fantastic. I am excited to see and experience what ZZ has in the future. I would definitely recommend this software.
