Box Mode / Point to Point not working with tab button?

When I tab, it brings up three options now (box mode, point to point and auto merge) - but it does not seem to select one, just merely goes through the options. It doesnt acutally select it.

Hey Tim, a lot of users were complaining about accidentally switching into Box Mode from Point-to-Point, so we unassigned the default hotkey for switching modes. You can re-add it in your hotkey settings.
