Not sure if this should be in bug reports, but I have a situation where I have an area takeoff (original takeoff) and do a cutout; I then put a new takeoff within that cutout (cutout takeoff). If I try to reassign the cutout takeoff to a different takeoff, it changes both takeoffs (cutout takeoff and original takeoff)
Also, is there a better way to "grab" a cutout takeoff? It seems to just want to grab the original takeoff.
You can disregard this, it was because the takeoffs were grouped together. The secondary question still stands.
If you de-select all objects on the page by clicking off, and then click directly on the cutout, it should only select the cutout (as long as there is no other area object in the way above the cutout). The next update has some improvements for how to fill the cutouts with other areas, etc.
Thanks Heber, I'm actually trying to grab the takeoff within the cutout. see attached screenshot for reference.

@Tim yeah I run into this as well with cutouts and the workaround I use is to go to your left or right panel and find & left click on the takeoff object on the panel that corresponds to that area you want to select that is inside of the cut out area. That will force it to select that exact object instead of the cutout area, and then you can make your adjustments.

Sometimes when you've got a cutout that is really jammed up though, the only thing you can really do is hide that larger area object so that the cutout area disappears and you can grab the other takeoffs inside of it.
