I got a weird circumstance, the highlighter box is "tied" to a linear takeoff. When I hide / unhide the takeoff, it hides / unhides the highlight.
Very strange. We will dig into this. If you have any extra details for what project and page this is on, please let us now here (or you can send it to our live support chat if you prefer to keep it more private). We will check to see if we can find what's happening on it.
This happened to me the other week when I accidentally used the group command without realizing a highlight was selected at the same time as an area takeoff. I wonder if that's what happened in here
Ok I guess I was incorrect. I just experienced a similar bug this morning using the arrow object where I'm certain I didn't group it with any of the other takeoff objects on the page, and it some how became associated with a count takeoff object. I drew the arrow through the match line and there were count objects it touched. The arrow disappears when I hide the count objects, and when I go into properties since I wanted to make it thinner, it thinks it's a count (but it is not getting added to the count total or anything)
We found and solved the bug in development, and the fix will be deployed in the upcoming release. In the meantime, we manually disconnected any annotations that somehow got linked to takeoffs. Sorry about the issue. Will be resolved soon.
This is resolved in our latest release.
