It's a little bit difficult to explain this, so bear with me.
So I do a lot of counts, like when I'm counting light fixtures on a project.
I have snapping turned on, and it works... mostly.
If I am recording a new count, and I'm clicking along counting this particular fixture type, I can't click a point, and then hover over the point I just clicked in order to align my next count to that point (Planswift does it). This isn't that big of a deal usually because I am just counting points and I just have to free-hand it to kind of sort of get them aligned.
But here are the real issues:
Sometimes, I'll be clicking along, and suddenly the cursor recognizes another point arbitrarily, and snaps my alignment to that point, making my count off-centered or whatever. Then I have to press escape and drag the point over the fixture - if I care about putting my count right where I want it, and then hit R and start recording again. That's not a huge deal either, more of an annoyance.
But the real issue is that sometimes, when it snaps to an alignment like that, I click, and it doesn't take off that count. It skips. And I know I counted that fixture, but it didn't register. So I have to go count it again, wiggle the mouse around (or press shift) to un-snap the alignment, and THEN it will f-ing work! I know I could just turn off snapping, but I don't want to. I want it to snap sometimes.
It's annoying.
Thanks!
Can you share a project and page with support@zztakeoff.com that we can test out?

Do a whole bunch of counts in a row or group, and it'll do it.
