Anyone interested in a community build?

I'm getting ready for World of Concrete in January 2027, and I've been building a set of concrete estimating tools inside zzTakeoff using Claude and the MCP. Before I finish it, I'd like input from people who actually estimate structural concrete for a living.

Here's the idea. The plugin will be free — at the show and in our store — so there's no compensation involved. What you get is a plugin built for structural concrete contractors, shaped by the zzTeam and by your experience instead of ours alone, and a say in how it works before it ships.

Pricing, production rates and general information will stay generic so nobody's trade secrets end up in it; an onboarding tool lets each company load its own rates.

These are the tools so far. I'm hoping for around ten collaborators, roughly one per tool, but if you'd rather weigh in on two or three, that's just as useful. If you're interested, reply with the tools you'd like to work on.

The framework is done. Every tool has its own input window with tabs and dropdowns, opened from a tool chest that can be opened or closed at any time (left image), and every input flows through to the takeoff. In the bid estimate report, there are opportunities to change rates, costs, markups and more to dial in your estimate and then at the very end of the estimate is a built-in proposal report.

Everything feeds existing zzTemplates that are 80–90% finished and works with the standard zzReports plus some custom reports that come with the package. What I need now is people who'll tell me what they want, what works, and what doesn't.

The commitment is light: a team call every other week, email in between, and a Zoom when something needs a screen share. If you're in, let me know.
