🚨 Feature Request: Add Hyperlink from zzTakeoff to Ediphi Project 🚨

Can’t wait to kick off our zzTakeoff pilot in the Pacific region — this is going to be fun!

You’re not gonna believe this: Pacific just hosted our first-ever company-wide Ediphi training. And now they’re about to be first in line for a zzTakeoff pilot (once we clear security/legal). Big shoutout to the Pacific team for being forward-thinking and ready to roll.

🧠 Here’s How our Ediphi Sample Project Training could Work:

Picture this from the user’s view:

  1. Open zzTakeoff (left screen)
  2. Watch the training video (center or bottom screen)
  3. See the completed takeoff and PDFs, no setup required
  4. Click the hyperlink in zzTakeoff → opens the matching Ediphi project (right screen)
  5. Start building your estimate while following along in the video

For folks with 3 monitors (which is a lot of our team):

Left = ZZTakeoff, Right = Ediphi, Bottom = Training Video

Boom. Seamless, immersive learning. Super intuitive. THE FUTURE!

🧩 The Ask:

Just need a field or button in ZZTakeoff to drop in a custom hyperlink that opens the Ediphi project that I can paste into zzTO. That’s it. Takeoff’s already done — this is just a bridge.

And honestly, the fact that we can share a simple URL and give view-only access to live takeoffs? That’s a monumental leap for our industry.

We’re just getting started… but I’ve got a feeling this is gonna be like grabbing the Super Leaf in Mario 3.

Tailspin engaged. Power up, baby.

Thanks Kyle! So I'm assuming this link you want is per-project, right? So you put in a different URL and it's just 1 click to open Ediphi (or any external app).

Maybe it's just a button in the toolbar at the top for "Open in Ediphi" and if you click it allows you to copy/paste any URL you want (in the meantime, until we have full blown integration).

@Heber,

Yeah something simple like that. Here is a 2min brainstorming session to perhaps spark a idea. LINK
