Add "lock" to takeoff items moved to new page

Can a locking feature be added to existing takeoff quantities when you copy takeoff from a previous page?

After adding updated plan sheets to a project, I would like to "lock" the previous takeoff items so they don't get accidentally manipulated. If you needed to change them, you would have to purposely "unlock" them.

It would also be nice if you could compare the original and revised takeoffs in a report that shows variance.
