Add 'Section Name' to Takeoff Tree Reports Columns
Can you please add the 'Section Name' as an option to the columns in the reports? In those reports only, can you see your indented takeoffs and it would be great to group by 'Section Name' first, then by takeoffs.
Hey Edinsa! I would recommend using the Advanced Takeoff Reports if you want to group by the “Section Name” as those reports are driven from the takeoff sections, whereas the Takeoff Tree reports just include the takeoffs/items, no section data.
I would except those reports don't indent takeoffs. Indented takeoffs are part of the main takeoff measured in a different way, many times. From a reporting perspective, I would like to see how everything rolls up to the main takeoff.
👍1Gotcha.. I don’t know if we have any plans to build a report that shows the parent/child takeoff relationships along with section data, but with dev tools/plugins you may be able to build a report that does this using UI Components.
I’ll mention this to the dev team just in case.
