Tim Lotterhand Area Takeoff - Click and Drag for Rectangles/Squares
Click and drag for simple shapes like squares and rectangles would be helpful and save a good amount of time.
Thank you for your input Tim. We will eventually have a box tool. We are not 100% sure on a timeline for this, but it is something they are planning on implementing. Thanks again for your request! We value your feedback.
I would also suggest, hot key the right click menu. So when you click and area, right click, will allow you to select "move", but if "m" was a hotkey when you bring up the menu to have it will be faster, then having to click it.
Hi Casey. Just a quick note that you can hold ALT key while clicking on an area to click on it and move it without needing to go to the right click menu and use "Move" command.

But it doesn't work with multiple selected items
Ah, good catch. It is supposed to work with multiple selected, and was previously working properly. It must have broken somewhere along the way. We will get it fixed.
The right click, "move" works with the Multi select
We found the issue. Somehow this multi-select and Alt to drag got broken when we added grouping abilities (we allow 1 level grouping of objects on the page). A fix for this will come out in the next release.
