Assemblies

So many of us estimators need to calculate multiple tasks within an individual takeoff. An example would be a curb and gutter takeoff, which needs to have separate calculations for Layout, Forming, Pouring, Stripping and Rebar. Each one of these would have different production rates, cost codes, material calculations etc.... I know that we could do all of that in the items, but it seems if we had assemblies we could keep each task separate and isolated. I think this could help keep the takeoff properties cleaner, without the need for multiple custom properties which could be placed the assembly, and allow for more tasks in a single takeoff. Especially if the assemblies were drag and drop, and the assemblies to could take on the Usage role for reports....
