Can you please make the project automatically stored in the assigned lead estimator's folder?
Currently, we're assigning lead estimators at the project set up, but still have to drag and drop these projects into that estimator's folder. Seems like assigning that lead estimator could just push it into their folder right away.
Hi Jordan, I have had luck using a dropdown custom property at the project level that has alll of your lead estimators names in it.
This way you can assign an estimator when you start or edit a project. Then you can organize the estimators in your workspace by using "Gray Folders" by estimator. Let me know if you need any help on this or a quick video.
Thank you so much for the quick response! We do have the lead estimators as a dropdown in the project set up. We do assign them when we create the project. The problem is when you're going to open a project, these projects aren't within the estimator's folders. They're all at the bottom, basically unassigned until you drag and drop it into the estimator's folder. Each estimator has a folder set up.
Can I send you an invite for a zoom meet
You can do that now! Simply open project and sort by yellow folder, then lead estimator.......or any other combination. I wish zzTO would let us make fields required when we setup projects so the key fields we use get assigened.

Kyle if you create a project level custom property you can sort by that gray folder. I called my Lead Estimator(S)
You can also enter bid dates, start dates, and as many options to grouped or sort by as you see fit.

@Todd,
Just to re-hash out all the requests I've been asking for related to this thread:
The critical one that will kill our pilot related to this is the one to many project relationship outlined here. LINK
Hi Kyle, Jordan had a simple question I was trying to answer, and we met in a zoom mtg a few minutes ago and it did answer his question. I am not try to redesign ZZ and it is not in my scope or privilege to make these changes. I can upvote and make feature requests though and I agree we need more control at the enterprise levels.
But mostly just wanted to answer his question.
I'm happy after meeting with Todd. He showed me a couple of helpful tools that solves our problems related to this original post.
