Autoscale unsuccessful thus far

ZZ appears to have issues autoscaling. This is my second set of plans since starting with ZZ. On the first set, each page had a scale, but lacked a specific call out (i.e. 1 inch = 40 feet). Maybe it's ONLY looking for (x" = y')?

Hey Shaun! The most reliable auto-scale detection is when it's spelled out as x" = y'. If you want, you can send us the PDF plans at support@zztakeoff.com, and we'll do some testing on our end. I'll also mention the spelled-out scales to the dev team as something to improve on.

I've ran into the same issue with this type of scale bar. I find these typically on subdivision plans.
