Change ply feature for segments, linear, and joists

When drawing a line I want to be able to right click a line and change how many ply the line is.

To make a single drawn LVL a 3-ply LVL would be very helpful, and then to have it move or copy as a single line that is now 3-ply wide.

Does that make sense? This would be for beams/headers fascia, blocking, joists, or anything similar so that I can visually see it and multiply the amount of material, but have it treated as a single object when trying to move it, drag it, copy or paste it, etc.
