Copying Projects

This may already be a feature, and I just may not know how to yet - but it would be useful to copy over projects. That way your takeoff items are already populated, and just need to rework the actual takeoffs.

This is especially helpful for when:

You have are looking at a similar project that you have in the past (school, apartment building, hospital, etc) (especially if it's with the same architect as the previous project).
You receive an updated set of drawings for the same project (Concept - SD - DD - CD)

I am looking for the same thing - to be able to "take" my takeoffs from job to job. I am thinking all the quantities would zero out when "importing" the takeoffs, and the takeoffs could reside in a separate part of the program where they could be accessed and updated outside of a particular project.

Hi Darrin,

Thanks for posting this, this is very helpful, but not exactly what we were looking for.

We want to be able to pick and choose takeoffs we want in one project and paste them to another, not necessarily copy all takeoffs.
