Hi,
Problem
When performing count takeoffs, users frequently need to place multiple identical objects in rapid succession. Currently, duplicating objects requires multiple steps, which slows down the takeoff process and disrupts workflow efficiency.
Proposed Feature
Add a shortcut-based duplication function that allows users to hold the Ctrl key and click an existing object to instantly duplicate it, similar to the functionality available in Bluebeam.
Wow I learned something today with that trick in bluebeam. That would be a wonderful feature in zzTO! Here is a 30 second video of how it works. LINK.
I also did a survey of 3 users. 2/3 of them said they use that constantly. if you count me it was 2/4 tho.
Thanks for the feedback.
@Kyle Also, thanks for all these videos. A picture is worth a thousand words, and a video is worth a million (not quite, but very helpful).
+1 on this.
i use ctrl+click/drag (and sometimes add the shift part to lock in x/y) multiple times per day with BB. Would be really great to have this ability here with zzQTO
