Custom Folder Visibility & Sorting Controls

Request:

Allow users to control which custom folders appear in sorting and grouping menus (e.g., Group By, Sort By).

Current Issue:

Some folders like Notes or Product ID are not relevant to sorting, but they still appear in the list. This creates clutter and makes it harder to quickly find key folders.

Proposed Enhancements:

1. Visibility Toggle:

• Add the ability to turn custom folders on or off for each project, so irrelevant folders (like Notes or Product ID) don’t appear in grouping/sorting lists.

2. Custom Sort Order:

• Allow reordering of the visible custom folders within the “Group By” or “Sort By” menu (for example, keeping Scope Classification, UF3, and Floor at the top).

3. Project-Level Control:

• Make visibility settings project-specific, since different projects use different folder/WBS structures.

Priority:

High, improves usability and consistency when managing takeoff organization across large teams.
