Chasstan Prichard Customizable Project/Pursuit Dashboard with Toggleable Filters and Columns
Objective:
Provide users with the ability to sort, filter, and view projects or pursuits using customizable, construction-relevant metadata. Allow fields and columns to be shown or hidden so each user can configure the dashboard to their specific workflow.
Description:
This enhancement would enable the home or landing page to display projects/pursuits in a table format with filters and columns that can be turned on or off as needed. Filters would allow single or multi-select options for greater flexibility.
Suggested Metadata for Sorting/Filtering:
- Lead Estimator
- Estimator Team Members (multi-select)
- Scope/Bid Package
- CSI Codes (multi-select)
- UniFormat Codes
- Building Type / Sector (Light Industrial, Life Sciences, Distribution, etc.)
- Environment (Urban, Rural, Brownfield, Greenfield)
- Contract Type (GMP, Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build, etc.)
- Stage (Feasibility, 60% Design, IFC, etc.)
- City / State / Region (no need for full street address)
- Client Name + “Repeat Client?” flag
- Pursuit Priority (High/Med/Low or Go/No-Go)
- Key Pursuit Drivers (Cost, Schedule, Sustainability, etc.)
Additional Enhancements for Consideration:
- Column Reordering: Drag-and-drop to change the order of columns in the table.
- Inline Tag Chips: Color-coded chips for quick identification of attributes.
- Collapsible Filter Panel: Hide/show the filter section to maximize table space.
- Saved Views: Allow users to save filter/column configurations for quick recall.
Benefits:
- Flexible configuration for different roles and workflows.
- Easier access to relevant information without extra navigation.
- Supports a wide range of project categorization and tracking preferences.

I'm gonna take this request a step further and suggest another tag/meta - Revision # or Set #/ID with additional dating.
As an example today... Trying to get past an issue where I would like to have data (not just QTO's & ITEMS) associated with the two different G002's from two different versions/times. I know that I can bury within folders, but for me I would say details can go beyond folders and sheet no, sheet name, date, etc.

Also, is there any future development on the reports tab reporting on empty folders and sheet names/numbers without any QTO/ITEM info?
I would say these requests really run along the document management side of things but it just seems the data structure is in place already...
Agreed, possibly additional base intake field attributes at the New Project creation level with which to be used to generate reporting within the native reporting interface. Or the User can again create Custom Properties that could be used to create custom aggregate reporting at the Project level, to include a field to receive a value as needed. A 'light' crm. An ability to connect other project specific Custom Properties would be very sharp.
Possibly allow the Status fields to be available to receive custom Status selections as needed. Possibly a deeper set of intake fields. Thank you!
Thanks for the input Nick. I know in your chat, you also mentioned that a summary by estimator would be nice too. For example: Estimator 1 has 5 open projects worth a combined total of $250,000
