When doing takeoff I'm finding it frustrating to always do the takeoff, then I have to go drag it into the folder I'm doing the new takeoff in. Anyway where I could select the folder with my mouse, then any takeoff that I add gets dropped in the various folder/sub folder?
Doing Multi user now and have a great tree going on under each user. It also sucks that it forgets the level that you have these folder's expanded too if you go click on the reports tab or refresh you are back to drilling down to where you were last. Same problem with reports.
Thanks for keeping the feedback coming. These are both on our list to fix. We'll get it done as soon as possible. Also, in the future we will add more grouping options in that right sidebar so you could just group by user without the need of folders. We are supporting folders for "backwards compatibility" to allow people to group any way they want, but as we expand with WBS, you'll be able to group by specific fields easily from a dropdown (division, user, page, etc.). Eventually as we expand our grouping features, I see folders being used less and less. It's just easy out of the box for most users to understand, so we figured we would support both ways of grouping in the end (both grouping by folders or by specific columns).
This will be HUGE to have grouping ability by WBS. I agree 100% that folders will be used less and less once we get our templates/project setup dialed. Can we get a meeting setup to go over this, as this will be critical to integrate with Ediphi?
