Hi,
We are running a demo of this software (currently using Bluebeam) and are pretty impressed! We ran across a few feature gaps that we believe would make this software even better. These may have already been suggested or perhaps there are workarounds currently - so bear with me!
1. Default Folders: We like to keep our Specs with the Drawing set and mark them up as well. It would be nice if every new job could be defaulted to have a certain folder structure. Looks like a current workaround would be to create a "Template Job" which doesn't contain any files - but has the folders and then just duplicate that. Perhaps there could be a "create project from template" button or something like then when creating new projects.

2. "Linear" dimension segment lengths: We often do takeoffs that require knowing how long each segment of a run is. In Bluebeam, we have it defaulted so that the segment lengths display as a label on the markup. It seems that the segment lengths can be seen in the Reports section, but it would be nice to display them right on the drawings as a "segment length" label.

3. Insert pictures: sometimes we bid projects that require a site visit, and we take pictures while on site and attach them to the location the picture was taken on the drawings. Looks like the workaround would be to upload the drawings and then create a hyperlink to them. However, it would be nice if we could do this directly when we are on site. On our phone/tablet we could pull up the drawing, choose create hyperlink - and it could ask if we want to take a photo. Then it would pop open our phone's camera and upload / link any photos we take directly into a project. Maybe these photos could default to a "photos" folder to keep things organized.
4. I love the ability to select a takeoff and then jump to where that is in the project directly from the Takeoffs menu. I think a simple improvement would be to allow customizing the double click on these takeoff items so that it will take you directly to that item on the plan set (if it is located on multiple pages like the example below it would open up the picker so that you could choose). If customizing the double click isn't an option, maybe we could change the visible toggle to be the jump to page icon - we rarely hide markups. Final thought on this - if there is only one option it should jump directly when selected instead of offering a selection with only one option in it.

If anyone has other workarounds for these, I would love to hear them.
