Kyle Bonde - Vertical GC Feature Request: Unlock Reports Tab in “Share with Everyone” View
Hey team,
On August 19, we’re launching our first official Ediphi training (region 1 of 10!), and naturally, I’m stirring the pot.
We’ve got a fun exercise where everyone gets a shared zzTakeoff link — no login needed. They’ll see the PDF, build a mini estimate in Ediphi (demo, drywall, ACT, site etc), and get a feel for the workflow. Super smooth. Takeoff to estimate.
But… the Reports tab doesn’t show up in the “Share with Everyone” view. Can we expose that? It’d be awesome for training — folks could see the actual output, match it to the handout I’m giving them, and feel like they’re not just clicking in a vacuum.
Also, minor detail: So yes, we’re changing estimating software and teasing a takeoff tool shift in the same session. Let’s just say I like to keep people on their toes.

Hi Kyle! Sorry for the delayed response on this. We are working on a patch to show the "Reports" tab on projects with "Anyone with Link Can View". We'll get it in there as soon as possible (I believe before your meeting). 🙂
Good luck on the regional training on the 19th! One of these days it will be a click of a button to sync between zzTakeoff and Ediphi 🚀

Wow awesome! Yeah works wonderful. Love the top hat with glasses logo on the top Right for a imposter snooping around.
One small suggestion is to have the default reports be collapsed by default....that list is really long and clogs up our life.
Good input. We might even get rid of that left sidebar, so that the grid can be full width (some users have been asking for more real estate here). We probably just make a dropdown in the toolbar to choose which report you want to load. We'll just keep iterating and improving each day based on user feedback 🙂
