Formula Dropdown in Custom Properties

I found out that in the Code: Name option for dropdown in the custom properties, works with formulas as the "code" or "value" in name. (awesome!)

I was hoping to create a list of dropdown formulas that I could use on the fly and have it populate the formula box as needed.

examples could be:

• Pipe backfill
• Beam Tool
• Studs on center
• Fasteners per SF

Each one of these would have their individual formula that can be selected from the drop down when creating a new part.

This works except when it contains a custom [Variable] in the formula. It does not carry it through and create the variable for adjustment.

Is it possible to create this as new feature, to be able add the custom variable with the formula? When we do an Item import from Excel, it will cary the [Variables] into the item and create those [Variables] in the item..

zz Could even offer a library of standard formulas in the Item.

We even could make the Formula Library as an option, to use its or create a custom formula
