It would be nice to have a marketplace or forum where users could connect to buy or sell take-off services. I know I could use a little help from time to time with some basic take-offs. I would even be open to selling my service when times are slow. The space would not have to be anything special, just a basic space where members of the community can connect with other users and post their needs. This platform seems to be perfectly set up for one-off or more advanced freelance takeoffs.
I agree. We are planning to create a directory for this. 🙂

If everything was encompassed in zztakeoff.
This could be a win-win-win from 3 points.
Contractors would get a one stop shop for their take off, reviewing other Takeoffers.
Takeoffers gets a source of income, and consent work. A specialization.
ZZtakeoff would have a continuous or new source of income. (Contractors would of course have zzTO for their plans, Non-Contractors would get zzTO to be a Takeoffer, creating a new workforce)
I know Upwork does have Takeoffers to do takeoff on plans, but they do charge a fee, and have a broad range of other services.
Similar to Ziprecuiter, you can have a credentials and work history. (Like I specialize in Demolition or Concrete Cutting)
And creating a Facebook/LinkedIn environment where other users can rate, comment, create a community.
Having everything in zzTakeoff, there would be a more streamlined and controlled.
Also Takeoffers, can do takeoffs on a different layer, then the Contractor can review and merge into their project.
Sorry if this might be too much, but I like to dream.
