Google Drive Document Upload

I see this has been requested before. Just trying to stream line our processes as much as possible. Being able to keep all documents in Google Drive would be great. Having the ability to access to upload and download to drive folders would be great. This would free up disk space on my PC not having the files on the computer. Is this something that is planned to be added soon?
