A way to plug in an address and perform a takeoff view google earth satellite photo instead of having to save photo out of google earth and then uploading it to here. Whether it be a roof takeoff, parking lot, or landscaping takeoff.
Hi Jake! Thanks for posting here.
Here is a work-around for now:
If you have the map open, you can press ALT + Print Screen on the keyboard (which will copy the current window into the clipboard). Then on the pages sidebar, you can click the "+" and then "New Page from Clipboard". This avoids them having to save it to a file. If you want the image to be more precise you can use "Snipping Tool" (built in to Windows) or similar to capture the image more precisely from Google Maps, which puts it into the clipboard, then you can paste New Page from Clipboard.
@ Heber,
That is cool! I tried pasting from bluebeam and was sad it didnt work (understood I can screenshot it tho) Ideally since most of us use Bluebeam, be wonderful if that would work when you copy a page from Bluebeam and that grabs it too or if there is a paste from bluebeam button as a idea....
