Highlight Copy & Moving

When copying a highlight, a small transformation menu pops up, you can move the highlight without having to select anything, by dragging it, but if you move the curser through the menus, it stops the moving process.

If you reselect the Move icon does it recommence ? No, once the menu goes away, no problem
Does this happen consistently or only in certain situations? Only when you do a certain set of moves
