Measurement appearing beside cross hairs while doing linear and area takeoffs

There is a gray box that pops up with the measurement to the right of the cross hairs when pulling dimensions. This gray box shows "Click Next Point" when doing linear and area takeoffs. Would it be possible to have this box show the measurement from the last click, similar to the dimension shown below, for linear and area takeoffs?
