Option to Access “My Takeoffs” as a Dashboard/Landing Page
Objective:
Allow users to access “My Takeoffs” from the website in a way that displays a dashboard or status view of all projects/takeoffs, rather than automatically loading the last project viewed.
Description:
Currently, when selecting My Takeoffs from the logged-in website navigation, the system directs the user to the most recently opened project. This enhancement would introduce an option to instead open a dashboard view summarizing all projects/takeoffs.
The dashboard could include:
- Project name and status
- Date created / last modified
- Assigned lead/user
- Quick filters for active, completed, or archived takeoffs (previous "Feature Request")
Proposed Options:
- User Preference Setting – Add a setting in account preferences to choose the default behavior:
- Open last viewed project (current behavior)
- Open “My Takeoffs” dashboard view
- Secondary Button/Link – Keep current behavior for the existing “My Takeoffs” button but add a separate “Dashboard” or “All Takeoffs” link for direct access to the overview page.
Benefits:
- Saves time for users who manage multiple projects or takeoffs concurrently.
- Provides a single view to check project statuses before diving into specific files.
- Improves navigation by offering flexibility in how “My Takeoffs” is accessed.
- Ability to just link the Projects Home or “My Takeoffs” instead of one project
Another request that I think would be a great addition to zzTakeoff. I'll pass this feature request on to development.

I agree with this feature. I think it would be alot more fluid to land on something like the "open project" window so users can select which project to view, rather than be directed to the last takeoff that was being worked on. Please implement this. Thanks!
