Hi
I’m not sure if this was discussed before.
If a dropdown box can be made, let’s say material goes up by 5% this quoter then just add 5% to that type of material and will increase by 5% in every part of your assembly.
Let’s say there are few different types of materials, like Concrete, Steel Reenforcing Lamber, etc...
Just choose the relevant material that need to be increased on the drop box and increase it by the relevant percentage.
The same for labor & equipment, so you don't have to do one by one in your data.
Yes this would be helpful for me as well rather than having to go through each set of items on the takeoff
Maybe the solution is a checkbox or something where if checked, all those item types will be increased by the percentage specified, while the rest will be left at whatever you manually put in/defaulted them to
Thanks for the input 👍🏻
Hi Heber,
I'm using PlanSwift & WinEst. The percentage Idea come from WinEst and works okay.
The same can be done for Tax as in PlanSwift.
when the new update rolls out you will be able to do this when you can make cost each a formula. would need to make a few extra custom properties adding columns to your product lists
one for base cost
one for price increase %
then in cost each you can use a formula.
Could add tax columns here too which I’m considering doing.
alternatively I find most suppliers rather than show your pricing as an increase they usually lessen your “ “ DISCOUNT % “ annually you could essentially create your price lists using the non discounted price which almost never changes and change your “discount %” to update your pricing
