(QoL) Upload Files in Separate Folders

Under Review

Pretty straight forward on this one.

When uploading multiple plans, it will be put into a long list together. Its not hard to create your own folders and group move the plans to the correct folders, but if it can be done with a button from the start, it can save time.

Also, sometime when there are multiple plans, some plans don't have the same Title/Page Name layout, and the easiest way (At least what I tried) is to put the plans in separate folders, and do the group name, and checkbox the folder. (Otherwise you will have to checkbox the plans of that layout)

Thanks for submitting this Casey. Can you clarify which you're asking for?

1. When importing a single PDF file, you'd like AI to analyze the pages and separate them into folders (A sheets in Architectural, S sheets in Structural, M sheets in Mechanical, etc.)

2. Or do you have separate PDF files that you will import separately (maybe 1 pdf file with A sheets, a different pdf file with S sheets, etc.) and on the "Upload Files" page, you'd like the option of creating a folder there and importing all of the selected files into that folder.

I assume you're probably asking for option 1. But just wanted to clarify.

Option 2

I sometimes get different files that has different architects layout for the same job. So the Title/Page Name is not always in the same place.

When doing the "All", you can pick and choose the folder or click on the page you want it to rename (Which can be a lot). Choosing the whole folder is easier, but when first uploading all the multiple PDFs, it get put into one folder, which mean, you would have to move them into new folders, which takes some time. If there was an option or check box, that says "Import in Sperate Folder" for that plan, it would be faster.

Thanks for the clarification. I'll pass this request on to the development team.
