Greetings!
I absolutely LOVE the new PDF search feature! I wished for it and it appeared! (LOL)
However, I'm wondering if there would be a way to be able to utilize normal functions (like creating or inserting takeoffs etc.,) with the search items "found" remaining hi-lited at the same time...? Search will find all the items you're looking for, which again is so great, but you can't do what you want to do on any given page if the search window/results are open/visible. You have to close the search window and start over....There is a work around: Simply put it on two monitors with 2 seperate/open pages - One with the search results open & the other with them off....but, it'd be so cool to have the ability to do both on a single page. Is that possible (hope I make sense)

Hi Cassie, I'm glad you found a work around. But I'm going to give you another way you can do it :)
If you leave the search window open and just move it to the left a little bit then you can still access the Search window, Takeoffs/Templates/Lists tab, and the plan pages where you can create takeoffs. All in the same window. You just leave the search window open while you record your takeoff. Then click the next one in the search window and hit record again to record the next one.
I use the little green dot to start recording again after switching to the next search result.
