Default Reports – Way too much by default. Collapse this section by default to reduce visual stress. Also, allow admins to rename it to Company Reports and control what appears there, because lot of its is not useful.
Project Reports – Rename Team Reports to Project Reports and scope it to the current project only. This current setup will not work for a huge company like ours with every project and eveyr person having free rain to put whatever they want there, will be so much JUNK within a month. Side Note we need a major overall with how this tool handles sub-projects IE. SD, DD, CD, VE, or alternate takeoff versions. That structure should drive what files and reports are shown.
My Reports – Love it. Don’t touch it.
Editing in the Grid – Huge potential here:
Let us multi-select and right-click to reassign custom properties.
Enable mass edits.
When we double-click a takeoff item, show the same properties in the main takeoff screen.
This unlocks dual-screen workflows: Takeoff on one side, Reports tab on the other as the power edit panel.
