Right Pane - Item Sort Ability

Assemblies can get complicated and its critical that we keep our templates organized. If you look at the below list on the right pane you would hate your life trying to sort this out since its all out of order. I noticed there is a "usage" field in the item properties and thought...wait, what if we could sort by this at the item level? You can do that fine in the report, but where the estimator needs to see it shown below is all jumbled. Can we get a option to control the sort order of the items, ideally by usage and other options besides alpha numeric. If this is not a option let me know and we will simply put the numbers in the description to force it.....

now drifting on a side tangent to find the underlying problem of this request..... Most estimating tools have a order number column.....heck even OST does.....perhaps we could get that in this tool as that would be useful at the takeoff level too, which would solve this problem and many more.......(if you allow that please allow characters too.)
