Jeffery Osborn Segement Length Measurement Option
Within the takoff property, can you add a measurement option to allow to measure the length of a segment? I see there an option for counting the segments, could there be an option to also show the length of each segment. I would use this for measuring fixtures that are L-shaped.
maybe I'm not understanding but I think you can kind of do this already. If you use the segment tool to trace an L shape then mouse over the segment on one of the legs it will tell you the measurement of just that segment, without including the other leg of the L. In the take off window on the right it still totals both segments together though.
Linear tool seems to have the exact same function if you just right click when you get to a corner and chose "section". I'm not sure what the difference is between that and using the segment tool. seems to be the same thing to me.
I want to be able to have that come out on my report. So when I go to request quote, I can tell them its L-Shaped 6'x8' without thinking about it or clicking on the takeoff, Its right there on the report Segment 1 is X' Length, Segment 2 is X' Length, so and so forth.
