Silva Cost Consulting, Inc. Sort By Name?
Planswift has a sort by name function for either folders or items. Is there a way to do this? In Planswift it was a right click and then select sort by name.
Yes I've been missing this functionality actually. I'd like to be able to sort the takeoffs on the left Pages panel in order for each page, and occasionally, in some instances when a folder in my takeoffs panel gets crammed up with tons of takeoff objects, I'd also like to be able to set those in alphanumeric order to locate them faster as well.
You should be able to sort by name if you group by "Folder" in the sidebars (works for pages, takeoffs & templates). Doing this will sort all folders to the top and the items/takeoffs/pages alphabetically.
@Jes, regarding sorting in the left pages panel - we'll take a look at that. Currently, you can "Match Takeoff Sidebar" in the pages sidebar, but it looks like we are not sorting takeoffs alphabetically yet when you group by folder in the takeoffs sidebar.

What if I don't want to sort the folders, just the items in the folder?

Yes, like Javier, I like the custom order my folders are in, I just want to sort the contents within the folders
