Is this planswift box mode vs point to point? If so, I second that. box mode cuts clicks in half for backing out doors and windows.

The other side to this is we need to have that "box" not always tied to 0°, 45°, 90°, etc. There are multiple times where items are skewed i.e. dumpster pads, parking stalls, etc.
