Feature RequestsUpdate Pricing in a Takeoff
Considering using ZZ Takeoff for our estimates. We often do takeoffs and need to update them later either because the customer comes back months later or because its a home plan we build often. Is there a way to easily update the pricing from the product list (or link it somehow via formulas) once the takeoff has been completed?
An example is we do a takeoff for a customer and bid the job. They come back 6 months later. We simply need to update the pricing from the most current catalog/product pricing list. How would I do this?
Hi, is there a property you set on the items you would want to have the prices updated (like SKU or similar)?
Our goal is to easily update pricing in a existing takeoff. The most typical item is lumber (2x6x10, etc). That could be sku to create the link. The software we currently use has a cost catalog (much like ZZ's list) that we can manually update or import a csv to bulk update the catalog. Once the catalog is updated we then can opt to pull the latest pricing on a given takeoff or just leave the takeoff pricing as-is.
