Area Takeoffs with Cutouts - Locking

I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but I can't seem to lock cutouts within an area takeoff.

I use area takeoffs on reflected ceiling plans to outline areas without ceilings, then copy/paste them onto other drawings as a quick reference for exposed vs. concealed areas. The cost difference between the two can be significant, so it's an important part of my workflow.

The issue I'm running into is that I can lock the area takeoff itself, but the cutouts remain editable. Is there a way to lock the cutouts as well, or is this currently not supported?
