Beam tool assembly issue.
I am attempting to create some assembly templates using the Beam tool but do not see a place at the assembly level to factor in waste...is this not possible or am I missing something. Any help appreciated.
Not really but there are ways you can work around it. You could create a custom property superficially for waste and have it apply to assemblies. Just make sure you have the items within the assembly are set to "inhert" that waste factor. This way you don't have to type it out on multiple lines.
You can also convert the assembly to an item. Notice the three cubs in the upper right hand? Use that to convert it to an item.
