Q & AChange Properties of an Individual Area
Hi everyone, I wasn't sure if there was a way to change the takeoff/properties of an individual area that has already been completed. For example, I completed my takeoff for all 4" sidewalks on a project so I have multiple areas within that takeoff line. But then when I was reviewing I noticed that they want one of the areas to be HD paving and thicker concrete. When I tried to edit the properties of just that one area, it wants to change all the areas within that takeoff.
My fix was I duplicated that one area and named it a new takeoff with new properties, but then I had to go back in and delete the original. Not that it was too complicated but I was just curious if there was a different way to alter individual areas and segments.
You should be able to right click on the section you want to change and convert to Jason. You can also Convert to if that works better.
