Convert Area Perimeter To A Takeoff

If you have an area drawn, example: Floor framing area, Can you explode the exterior of that area to a LF and easily convert that to a wall assembly. This speeds up your takeoff. Example: If you draw the floor sheathing and then have this option you can quickly explode the perimeter to those exterior walls without drawing the exterior walls.

Yes you can. Right click on the area takeoff and select the Duplicate As command and pick linear (either new linear takeoff or an existing one you previously created), and it will do exactly what you are looking for.
