Jeffery Osborn Copy Page with TakeOff
Not sure if this a request already, When duplicating a page with takeoff, can there be a prompt or option to duplicate page and takeoff? This might be a workaround to the request for a multiplier for page, if the page can be duplicated with takeoff, I can do it that way.
Hi, currently this is not a feature, however we do support a workaround like so:
- Duplicate the Page: Create a copy of the plan sheet you need.
- Select & Copy Takeoff: Go to the original page, select all takeoff objects (Ctrl+A), and copy them (Ctrl+C).
- Paste to New Page: Go to your duplicated page and paste (Ctrl+V). The items should snap to the same location, effectively "multiplying" that page's quantities in your total reports.

When I did a copy and past, it did not past in same spot, It pastes using the location of the top left cursor position, then you have to move the takeoff to lineup correctly. I tried to do that already. I think the option to duplicate page and takeoff would be a great feature.
@Jeffery To make it paste in the same spot, make sure your mouse cursor is not above the plan image when you paste. Move the mouse above the list of pages on the left (or above the toolbar so it's off the image) and then press CTRL + V. When the mouse is above the image, it tries to paste where the mouse is. When it's not above the image, it will paste in the same original location that it was copied from. We'll plan to add an option to duplicate with takeoff at some point in the future as well.
