Hi All,
Not sure if this feature was asked before, I have seen it in Sage Estimating, years back.
This feature would be very useful in zzTakeoff would the ability to adjust the final estimate total by a fixed dollar amount and have the program automatically push that change back through the estimate lines.
For example, if I am not happy with my final total and I want to increase or decrease it by $10,000.00, I should be able to simply enter +$10,000.00 or -$10,000.00. The software would then automatically distribute that adjustment across the estimate lines instead of me having to manually edit everything.
Ideally, the adjustment could flow back through labour production rates, materials unit cost, equipment production rates, and lump sum items cost. This would save a lot of time and make it much easier to fine-tune a bid without rebuilding or manually changing each line item.
A good option would be to let the user choose how the adjustment is spread:
This would be a very practical feature for real-world estimating, especially when a quote needs to be sharpened or softened quickly to suit market conditions while keeping the estimate balanced.
Thank you Guys, hope you had a Happy Easter
Ediphi does most of that and will have nearly all of it done by end of year along with a wonderful integration with zzTO.
That's a good news Kyle, thanks mate.
