Highlighting symbols in a specific view using AI.

Is there a way (for example) for the AI to pick up the symbols on a plan? For example we would be looking for it to find all the WC-1 tags on the below plan. We tried and we found that it wouldn't recoginze them. Either we are doing something wrong, or the functionality doesn't exist.
