Hyperlinks being copied

Is there anyway to turn off the hyperlinks? We copy all of our takeoff information from one page to another by fencing the items and noticed it's copying these hyperlinks also even though they are locked. I have tried Ctrl A but it also selects the hyperlinks. I have also tried selecting the top item, then shift or ctrl and selecting the last item, but it only selects one item type at a time (which seems like you should be able to select more that one item)
