Importing Planswift project into an EXISTING ZZ Takeoff project
A portion of my team has been using ZZ takeoff for projects while another portion has been using planswift for those same projects. We are now at a point where we need to migrate the entire team over to ZZ takeoff. Is it possible to import those planswift projects (drawings and takeoff items) into the existing project on ZZ Takeoff?
When importing the planswift project folder into zz takeoff I only have the option to create a new project rather than merge it with an existing zz takeoff project. I need to merge the projects.
Hey CPalermo, we currently don't have a way to import a Planswift project into an existing zzTakeoff project.
As a workaround, you could manually merge the 2 projects by opening 2 tabs, with 1 tab, import the PS project, and in the other, open the corresponding project in zzTakeoff. Once the PS project finishes importing, copy any takeoff data from the imported project that doesn't exist and paste it into the existing project in zzTakeoff.
