Ductile iron pipe comes in 18ft lengths, and we only sell full sticks (contractors can cut to length).
If I have three segments of 12" DIP:
33 ft
40 ft
25 ft
My total length is 98 ft, which is 5.444 full sticks, which I'd like to round up to 6 sticks or 108 ft. I'd like to keep the measurement of 98, but quantity needed is 108 ft.
Is this possible to have the individual measurements and round off the total?
This is something I'll actually need to leverage with every type of pipe we sell. Most are 20' lengths...but the mission is the same - get it to round on the total quantity per take off, not by segment.
hi david you can accomplish this quite easily with round up to nearest.
if your item is entered as a cost per ft you would round up to nearest 18
if your item is costed per 18ft length you would round up to nearest 1
keep it simple...yes this works wonderfully. ty
