Also, what is the solution for operating the software without internet access, especially on construction sites?

Thanks for the comments. The toughest part about perpetual license regarding web based software is that we have ongoing costs for storage, servers, and support. We have no current plans for an offline version, but we're considering a basic offline viewer for backup/archive purposes.

SaaS tools require ongoing costs, so subscriptions make sense. Desktop tools like OST/PlanSwift are one-time buys, but they’re not evolving. We’d just love a floating or usage-based model instead of strict named users.

"Offline" mode is so low on the priority list for us.
