Brendon Rohde Looking for Templates/Lists to Test zzTakeoff
I’m currently looking into zzTakeoff and would like to trial it properly before taking it to the directors for approval. Before I start from scratch, I was wondering if anyone here has a template or trade list they’d be happy to share so I can load it in and test the workflow.
The goal is just to get a feel for how zzTakeoff handles real-world data and see if it will fit into our estimating/takeoff process. Even a basic list would be really helpful as a starting point.

I would gladly do it for you mate, but I haven't learned how to export yet. If somebody can help from ZZ?
Hi Brendon, I also have some sample templates that you can try out.
I know the development team has talked about creating an easy way to share templates, but that hasn't been added yet.
There is a workaround for it though:
1. The person copying the Templates would need access to both workspaces (if you invite james@zztakeoff.com to your workspace, I will copy some sample templates into your workspace for you. To invite me, click on the "Share" button near the top right corner - then invite me to your workspace)
2. To copy the Templates, I'll open my workspace, select the templates, right click and choose copy..
3. Then I can switch to your workspace (top left corner drop-down and click on your workspace)
4. Then I'll open a project (or create a new project) in your workspace
5. In the "Takeoffs" tab (not the "Templates" tab) I'll paste the Templates
6. Once they are pasted into the Takeoffs tab, I can then copy them into the Templates tab on the same project.
I'm sure we will streamline this as we go forward. But you can use this workaround for now.

Hi Sam, Absolutely. If you follow the steps above and invite me to your workspace, I'll copy some starter pack templates into your workspace for you.
