MCP with Copilot

Hello zz Team. I got zzTakeoff working with Claude/MCP and its magical.....problem is Claude is my personal account and many of my co-workers dont have claude...sad face.

I'm trying to get the zMCP tied in with our enterprise standard Copilot and ran into a blocker that I have to get this approved thru IT. Do you have any documentation that will make our IT team feel warm and fuzzy that I could include in this request?

Sounds like it should not be a issue with our IT team to connect to copilot. My next issue is best practices for setting up a enterprise MCP zzTakeoff agent in Copilot. Looking for best practices.......for example instructions or anything on the right using copilot studio.

For example I can connect agents shown on the bottom right.... so my intent would be to make a generic zztakeoff MCP agent, then connect that agent to the documents and specs when I build project specific agents.

Agent 1 = Agent for project, linked to specs/drawings/rfi's etc.

Sub Agent = Generic zzTakeoff Agent that knows the MCP so people dont have to configure it.

Awesome! Glad it's a non-issue. We don't have example instructions for the agents yet, but I'm curious if anyone in the community has built out agents/skills using the zzTakeoff MCP. Would love to see it!

Hey Kyle I know this is off topic, but remember that fly-by-night AI system you shared a post about on here back in the spring that kind of blew our minds?

Well call me crazy, but I have a feeling we're going to have all of those capabilities here in zz very soon that that guy showcased in his system, and even more.

Way sooner than I imagined.🤯
